PES sump by Rickard Nebrer




One easy mod is the get a sump plate from PES.
This sump plate have fins for coling and a magnet inside.
The magnet is mounted on a big bolt so you can empty the sump
easy when you change oil.

Before you try to mount the plate and filter you must measure the pipe.
Mine was 9/16" long and the the bottom of the plate is just 1/2" deep.
If thats the case you have to cut the pipe. I cut mine to 7/16" and I
cut it in a 45 degree.



Next problem was that I have used locknuts on my old plate and the bolts was to
short to use locknuts on the new plate.


The old plate is much thinner than PES plate.
So I drilled small holes in the bolts and secured them with a lock wire.



As usual I also secured the big bolt . I don´t want to losa all oil when I drive.
