Jeff I bought one from Trojen spares in Sydney Australia and it is good quality but I don't know were they get them from. I know that they will post if that helps.

Check the earth with a lead from the blinker housing to earth sometimes if a bad earth the current will go back though the globe and light it

Thanks for the advice Minety I'll change the oil soon I did clean all the mesh oil strainers last change and did have some debris so changed the inline return filter as well so I thought it would be ok to just ride to the garage only about 5 kilometres there and back. PS the English rugby team don't...

Thanks gents for all your advice it's much appreciated :thumb I didn't change the oil because it looks so clean and since the complete rebuild I've only done 197 kilometres and I changed the oil and filter at about 100 kilometres so thinking that it been sitting in a brick and insulated garage with ...

Oil use by date

I haven't started my B50 for a long time maybe a year and wonder if the oil is still good it's still clean looking and I have to get it registered so ride it the inspectors any thoughts would be great.

image.jpeg image.jpeg This is my cap and did buy some petrol resistance rubber and cut a seal but it just wrinkles up and was useless this one from from the guy could have been Brith gaskets is still going 2 years later might be worth looking for him in the search thingy he also supplies gasket set...

On my B50 I had wet sumping about 100 mm over night and it was the oil pump shaft housing worn so I got it machined and bushed now I can leave it for months without having a sump full of oil <924

I did the same on my B50 return line and it works well but I've see some posts here were others have had wet stumping and oil pushed out the breather. There has been some talk about this subject maybe the mighty moderator <936 could step in here.

There was a discussion about this a while ago so maybe try the search option and I'm sure that the seats are shorter for the large tank but I think you can modify the seat to suit but from memory our minety moderator could explain :uhu
