Re: New Bike in the Shed

Question. How many bikes do you need?
Answer. Just one more.

I took one of the B50's out for about a three hour ride the other day, first time in months. It's still my favorite bike.

New Bike in the Shed

I purchased this a few months ago. 2014 Commando Sport only had 1600km on the clock. Cost phew a lot and have just put about $800 worth of upgrades to make it better. Go figure. I still have my three BSA's and my Jucati. Thought about selling one or two to fund the Norton but couldn't decide so at t...

Advance Retard Unit

Hi Guys
Is it ok to run an advance retard unit 5 deg in a B50 SS. I have read on the site that 15 deg was standard for the B50 SS and the 5 deg was for energy transfer systems.

Would there be a downside to running the 5 deg in the standard setup.
Thanks

Mine all have some wobble. Buy one of Marks or EdV's splined shaft and clutch setups. I have invested in this on one B50 SS wow what a difference they make.

My B50 SS has a hole in the piston. Anyone got an idea how this happens. The bike has been rebuilt from boxes. Re: Non- return valve

Hi Barry For what it's worth. If your not getting any oil coming out of your return line you have a blockage or your pump is not pumping with sufficient pressure and as these bikes operate at such a low oil pressure something is wrong. I presume you have an aftermarket oil filter. In a recent ground...
