I did wonder if you were purging the tubes, it makes the welds so much stronger. Food grade frame? purging :smile: yes , - we call it " formieren ". purging the inside with the same gas as for the welder is used, the Argon. give it about 3 liter / minute to flow. but do not forget: Argon is heavier...

hi Francoise For what classic race do you hope to be ready in 2021 ? I don't think it will be ready for race in 2021. hopefully it will be on the wheels and completed for testruns by the end of this year. so, if everithing gos all right, it should be ready for 2022. our first race with the old Golds...

hi FGF do not forget : this BSA engines are machined very UNEXACTLY in several places. so, - no wonder if a new part will not fit as it should, - just first check your own work you have done and if it is ok, --cut something off the part ! things like this are very common <069 <069 beat :lol:

I can not reach it as easy because the lurgy has closed the border to D. hi minety D = G, - you are right. it will be not a Chopper :mrgreen:

the hight of the headstock ( most highest point ) is 104 cm.
this because I go for a suspension way of more than 230 mm on this front wheel.

witch clutch are you running ? it is a NEB clutch and gearbox. it looks good to me so far, - a bit similar to the one I use now on the Goldie. but Goldie has a dry type , - B50 has the wet type. thank you guys I put the engine on to the balance to see the wight: 36.1 Kg this as seen on the pictures, - means with carburettor, kickstarter and gearshift lever plus trigger ( points ) for the ignition. :cool: :cool: at the other side of the balance it stays 9'800 Sfr.- for the engine parts. <022...
