Re: pre oif a65 swingarm on b44/25 frame

Well just an update bit the bullet measured up all the differences in the swingarms, Purchased a late 1969 onwards a65 swingarm with bobbins. Required very little cutting on the shaft. 3mm difference cut off the near side of the swingarm. Obviously the hub brake and axle all works as they are used o...

pre oif a65 swingarm on b44/25 frame

Hi all, Couldn't find any threads on this in the tech section, apart from the fact I read that the Walker bikes used to have a65 swinging arms fitting to B44's as they are around 3 inches longer than b44 swingarm. I have done all the measuring and it can be done, just wondering is anyone else has do...

Sourcing Bsa Carrillo con rod

<069 Hi all I'm almost certain no one will have one of these laying around in their shed or garage. I'm after a b40 Carrillo conrod for my bsa b40g engine. Is the b44 rod the same length as the b40? It is for b40 scrambles engine that I'm shortening a b44 barrel for, so if it is not excessively long...

Re: b44 swing arm needle roller conversion

Hi commando,

I've started this conversation myself.

Just looking for some more details with regards to how you arranged the washers and seal.

Was surprisingly easy to get the bearings a nice fit and a lot cheaper compared to silent block bushes.
