I just did this for my B25 motor. Took a bit of effort and heat, but was successful. If I had lots of cases to split, I'd certainly make up / buy a tool.

Subscribed. In case another run of these valves is done, I'd be interested in one for my 67 B25. After a seizure, I just found my oil pressure relief vale was missing the ball entirely. Maybe this caused the seized piston and the bottom end knock. Looking for all oiling advantages for my rebuild... ...

Old topic, but subscribed. I have a similar metal tank on my 1967 B25... I was never quite sure what model it was from. Though, mine does have threaded holes at the bottom front corners to accept mounting studs. EDIT: Wait, just realized this tank has center ridges, mine does not. Anyway... I'm in t...
