Re: B25 Big End Shells

Finally found the bearings.

I have one pair of Glacier for a Triumph but they are .030
Then a pair of .010 but not sure of make. They are Triumph, (stamped 70-3706) and they have a circle within a circle and a plus sign in the very middle. Maybe John (kommando) can identify them.

Re: B25 Big End Shells

Hi, How frantic for them are you? I've got 2 sets of bearings at home but won't be there for a week. Not sure of size but they are new and I'm sure at least one is Glacier and at least one is for a T100. I'll dig them out and let you know when I get back if you are still looking then. Cheers, Keith.

Re: Engine wanted and other parts

Not at all. It's just that whenever I put anything on ebay all I seem to get is people asking 'How much for a quick sale'.

I shouldn't assume everyone means the same by it so I'll consider myself chastised.

Re: Engine wanted and other parts

I'm not bothered about a quick sale at all and if anyone asks that it usually means they hope to get it cheap (er).

Anyway it's listed now so I'll see what happens.

Possible Fury/Bandit frame

Sorry if this is in the wrong place. Just bought this bike and I think it may be a Fury/Bandit frame. If it was are there likely to be any numbers on it. I've had a quick look and can't see any. The bike has been used for sprinting for the last few years. It starts and runs well. Sadly it looks as i...

B40 Barrel and Head wanted

I am looking for a decent B40 barrel and cylinder head if anyone has anything.

Ready to fit including piston would be good but anything considered as long as it can be made good without too much work.

Thanks, Keith.

Thanks Skippy,

Could be worth giving them a go then. Might also help reduce the amount of methanol that gets into the oil as well.

Re: Close ration first

For MX it can make a significant difference. If the first corner isn't too far away, and they usually aren't, then you can hang on to 1st all the way to the corner and thus save time not changing gear. So if you have the b*lls to go for it then all things being equal you have a good chance of gettin...

Don't know who made Ian's but have a look at Raysons Exhausts. They are over your way and will make you a fantastic system. Ben and Tom are the guys there and will build it exactly as you want.

In my quest to obtain either a B25 or a B44 engine I seem to have amassed quite a pile of B25 engine parts. I have now found a nice B44 engine which is what I really wanted so all the B25 stuff is surplus. There is probably enough to build 3 complete engines and extra stuff as well. A complete TR25W...

Head Steady Bracket required.

I am in need of a head steady bracket for a 1968 B44. The bit that fits on the head and the valve lifter cable fits onto. I also need the valve lifter cable and handlebar lever but I think I should be able to find those on ebay or wherever.

Thanks, Keith.

Frame I.D.

Just wondering whether anyone has any ideas as to the origins of a frame that I have acquired. It is OIF and was clearly built for a narrow lug unit single engine. It appears to be very well made and is nickel plated. It is stamped 'MX01' on the headstock. I do have the swinging arm for it as well. ...

Re: What 10mm spark plug

hwan,

It looks like it's been milled a bit deep. Because it's been milled vertical and then with the shape of the combustion chamber there is quite a difference in measurements side to side.

Anyway the shortest thread length is 9/16" and the longest is 3/4".

Hello all,

I am looking for a B25 engine that ideally is complete and ready to drop into the frame and go. Would also take a B40 engine as an alternative.

Thanks for looking.
