Re: Nearly a complete bike...

UK to USA shipping is usually cheaper than USA to UK. No one has a '71 250 engine for sale, and parts bikes are just as rare. I am trying to build a similar pair of bikes (T25T and B25T) as you have planned, and no engine has me stalled. I have two cases, jugs, and heads, but no guts.

I am interested in the engine, if you are willing to ship to the States.

Re: Would This Get Me Shot???

I currently have a T25T frame, a T25T title, and two complete cases/jugs/heads, etc. that need guts. I got an email yesterday from a cat that is going to sell me a titled B25T and cases. So, I guess I will be building up a pair of mini desert sleds. Now, I just need to find a lady to help me build t...

Re: Running B25SS/B25T T25SS/T25T Engine

Yea, I know. Have you looked for engines on eBay? You may be surprised at the amount of "running" engines from bikes that get parted out. I bought and had shipped a "running" 2005 Triumph air cooled twin to me off of eBay for $415. Almost all of those same engines are listed for over $1000, plus a f...

Running B25SS/B25T T25SS/T25T Engine

I am needing a running 1971 engine to get a project under way while I spend a million dollars doing a complete race engine build. I prefer the Triumph, but at this point, I am not going to be that picky. I can have anything shipped in to my work.

Re: Would This Get Me Shot???

I'm of the opinion that if you buy it and pay for it you can do whatever you want with it. It's not about appeasing someone elses narrow mind. I agree with you 100% Stan. And, I was thinking that would be your response as well. Luckily, I talked to the guy with the shiny scooter that I was planning...

Re: Would This Get Me Shot???

I totally agree, and I have been rat holing parts for just that reason. But, frames, titled frames, rollers, and titled rollers are things I am not finding very many of for the T25T and T25SS. Getting a street title in my area is harder than getting a married (the divorce was the easy part )

Would This Get Me Shot???

I am a Triumph guy. I fell in love with flat track racing and motor bikes at the same time. Over the last few years, I have began to favor the smaller displacement bikes, like the 250 single and 500 twin, as well as the look of '60's desert racers. Furthermore, I have began to have a soft spot for t...

OIF Triumph 250/500 Bikes & Parts

I am looking for an OIF Triumph. I am interested in T25T, T25SS, TR50MX, and TR5T. It will be used on the street, so a title would help me out a ton. If you do not have a title, I am still interested in what bikes and parts you have. I already have engines and parts for a T25T, and would rather have...

Re: rickman montesa unit single

I totally agree, that the tank above is to large for the bike size. I also dislike that tail section. I prefer the round tail section. http://forum.ozvmx.com/index.php?topic=26521.0 These tanks seem smaller... http://i1218.photobucket.com/albums/dd411/mxoffroader/BultacoMettisse3.jpg http://i1112.ph...

Re: rickman montesa unit single

I have a T25T engine, and a spare "mock up" T25T engine sitting in the garage. Originally I was going to build a flat tracker, like what Stan builds. But, a road going scrambler makes more sense. So, I am on the search for a T25T frame at the moment. Although, I have had the want to stuff that engin...

Re: eBayed again/$75 project bike.

That front wheel looks like a Buell Blast item. But, I am sure that they never had them in gold.

I see you mention land speed racing. PM me if you will be at Speed Week this year.
