Speedometer eliminator

I am going to fit a gps speedometer on my b25ss project, just wondering if anyone has done this and what the pros and cons are, also what have people done to tidy up the rear end once the drive is removed, thanks in advance, :thumb

I wasn't aware that the fork stops were a problem, these were nice and straight, would be interested to know thoughts on this? :oops:

MGBs and one or two other British Leyland cars used a Very similar colour called Vermillion worth a look :thumb

<218 I fitted a new PES.swingarm and it seems i must have knocked the thread. can anyone tell me what the correct thread is so i can borrow /beg/steal a die and dress the end. suggestions please. ps.emailed Anita but no answer as yet(busy girl). cheers John.

WOW Minety, you could choke on that lot in layman's terms could you unconfined this , ie what do I need for my b25ss 1971 as Google just adds to the confusion also different manufacturers make different claims , sorry but electronics terrify me,

Can someone please point me in the right direction as to which regulator rectifier I need for my b25ss project ie single or 3phase I will be using boyer ignition with a battery in the system, what are your recommendations, thanks John

I like the look of the Victor tanks, but can't find a good one, Holtworks lead time is about 12weeks, plus although the bike is all shiney now I do intend on using it a lot, that puts the mx tanks out of the equation , oh well the search continues,

The time is nearing that I will be ready to rewire my b25ss (much altered) not a job I relish. I was wondering if anyone is nearby incase I hit snags, I am keeping the electric box but changing over to more modern electrics, already have boyer and wish to replace the zener. Ps I'm in Leyland Lancash...

i understand that minety but away from the bike at the moment. i cant see what is supposed to stop lateral movement of the shaft Unless it relies on the backplate to hold it ??

Looks like the spacer Nambo speaks about is for the larger brake plate mine is the 6 inch one so I am still confused durrr
