BSA B50 / B25 / TR5T SWING ARM SPACER TUBE

Has anyone got a BSA OIF B50 / B25 / TR5t swing arm spacer tube?
PART NUMBER 83-1969
If not anyone know the dimensions so i can get one knocked up, photos & drawings with dimensions would be good, even better the part its self.

part number is 70- 9395 and who ever machined the case machined a flat surface for a fibre/copper washer on the out side and the threaded hole is centered to the casting lug, indicating a factory job, i have remove the bung and test fitted the cover and it does not appear to give access to anything,...

thanks guys you are all confirming my thoughts on the gaskets...will clean surfaces thoroughly and use my tried and tested silver CT1 sealant... just another quick question there is a felt washer listed for the final drive sprocket, part number 90-6074 there was not one fitted and can not see any ob...

I had this on my B25ss Gold Star to sort it I used some CT1 an all purpose silicone adhesive see link http://www.ct1ltd.com/our-products/ct1/ this product is very useful on my brit bikes and keeps them oil tight (even when there is oil in them) I got some brass shim and cut it into strips, liberally...

Hi thanks Guys I have also been told to drain primary and re fill with 100cc of trans fluid instead of oil as per pink n yellow manual... the 7 plate mod has been done and I now have and extremely light clutch....with only an in or out action at the lever meaning minimal clearance. I have looked at many 70s Triumph mudguards and some BSA ones all though they have wire stays they are different in design some have the extra vertical stay behind fork leg some have bend in a different place...see photos my B25ss has 18" rims and the others are for 19" rims or so the tyre sizes on ...

I have not been that far into the engine I did have the top end off about 500 miles back and there did not seem any play up down or sideways in the conrod when i checked, the oil pressure switch is set for 7 psi ...apart from that I am open to suggestions...

The fuel mix seems ok as plug is running on the dark brown colour the plug is the reccomended grade /equivalent..... Timing...timing is a near approximation with boyer electronic ignition , i can not strobe it as the wrong rotor has been fitted and has no timing marks so timing is set with timing to...

Hi does anyone out there know of a B25ss primary belt drive kit? is it the same as a B50? has anyone done it? any do and don'ts or pitfalls would love to fit one to smooth out the standard primary chaincase noise..tried haywards but they don't do them am in UK have seen some on ebay but a bit unsure...

I have done some more miles this weekend and backed of the timing a little..the noise has now disapeared one guy at a vintage show said it might be a weakend valve spring or sticky rocker arm caused by bike being stood for a long period. I did check the rockers when i had the top end off and all see...

On my 71 b25ss I am getting an occasional rattle a low and mid range rpm when warmed up..it sounds like a loose tappet chatter I have checked valve clearences and both are on the tight side..the noise only occurs at certain rpm (no rev counter) tweak the throttle and it goes away just a few revs hig...
