Cracking work, not sure about that headlamp and not keen on those brackets, but that would be the limit of my mod ability....

Thank you all, funnily enough the headlamp brackets gave me the most headache and were difficult to source, I spent some time trawling the tinternet to find a set. They are Ceriani items (reproduction) which a guy in the states had new batch made. Amazing how peoples taste differ!

Just back from the Pre 65 trial up at Kinlochleven, managed 1200 trouble free miles over the extended weekend.

Brilliant!

Used to go and watch the Scottish Six Days Trial every year. Until I got married in 1986...

Once rode up from Wolverhampton on my B40, rode round following the trial all week, then rode home again. Must have been a lot of miles, but doubt I had a working speedo. Following year I'd dropped a B44 engine into the same rolling chassis. Volunteered to be a Marshal/Observer. This was great as it opened up all the off-road going. Trailered it up to Fort William though. Must have been getting soft!

Well done.

Brilliant! How's the handling? I'll vote for yes to the headlamp brackets as they look very solid. The standard B50 headlamp mounting wire was a pile of crap in its day.

The handling is great , a little bit firm but working on that. Had a wee feature on " The Bike Shed " last week

Here are a couple of pics of the Hybrid a long time ago when It had a 441 victor motor in the chassis, I was up at Ploackton for a gathering to celebrate the life of a friend who drowned a several weeks ago and an ex girlfriend of his had a few pictures she gave me from one of the many trips I had up north.

This was the donor bike I swapped a 5ta for, I had been refurbing the BSA chassis and picked up a 5ta rolling chassis so bolted in the Triumph motor that had been fitted into the BSA and put it through an mot. The guy could not get the BSA going so was please with a running Trumpet.
