original paint colors

Post by ronbuell » Thu Dec 30, 2010 11:22 pm

I am restoring a 1972 B50SS and would like to get information on the colors they were available in, details of the paint scheme and color specifications.

<135 to the forum ronbeull, I think there is quite a bit of info here somewhere, I (or maybe someone else) will post a link when I (others) find it.

I hope you don't mind, but I've moved your post to the tech section, the Paint section where you first posted is for write-ups, and should be where you might find such info if someone prepares thesis on the subject. I sometimes get an uncontrollable frenzy and have to move stuff about, especially after too many mince pies...

Why not put some pictures of your bike in the projects section?

According to the owners manual the T25 colour is "Bloody Red"
I have also seen it refered to as tangerine.
So I assume no Oranges were hurt in the production of Trail Blazers
