Cheney /Faber frame info

Post by neil » Wed Apr 03, 2019 6:56 am

Hello chaps,
I am looking for the frame tube diameter and wall thickness for a BSA Cheney or Faber single downtube frame.
1. Top spine from headstock to seat.
2. Down tube from headstock to bottom frame rails.
I think that going by the original Cheney brochure should be 1 3/4” for both. Faber looks larger?
Also, where is the oil take off connection located on the Cheney frame?
Cheers
