B25 ignition advance curve

Post by madsundaysurvivor » Fri Apr 26, 2019 11:28 am

Hello,

Have someone the advance curve of B25 from static degrees to full advance?

A few years ago I brought to HPI igntion Belgium an universal rotor with digital advance CDI, the main reason was that they sold it with the plate adapted to BSA and the correct rotor hole

I think that electronic part is the same or very similar to electrex ignition STK-010D.

The manufacturer send me this CDI ignition curve:

And theoretically aplied to the B25 with full advance 37 degrees:

my concern is the flat curve from 0 to 2000rpm and the full advance does not appear up to 4500 rpm. What do you think about this?
Regards

I think that curve is a problem. It should be shifted about 1000 RPM to the left.

Thank you hhh,
Is the same that I think. I don't understand why hpi ignition declare this curve for standard 4 stroke.
The digital electrex stk-010D, Do they use the same curve?
