B44gp parts ?

Post by Kthomas » Thu Nov 27, 2014 3:21 am

Anyone know where a person might find sidecovers , airbox, and auxillary oil tank for a gp ? If not, does anyone have measurements for these items ?
Thanks

<135 to the forum Kthomas.

In answer to your question "where?" ...here hopefully!

You haven't just bought a frame have you?

Would you update your profile and let everyone know roughly where on the planet you are please? <135

Rickman do the side panels and air box. I have an original petroil tank plastic cap type, i might be perwaded to swap.
As for the header tank im sure it would be easy to make or get one made. Good luck with the project.

Hi,

Mojo frames made a replacement oil header tank for my bike.

Hope this helps.

Hello,
As has been stated www.mojomotorbikes.co.uk can do all manner of steel bits/repairs for the GP.
Adrian Moss of Rickman used to be able to supply brilliant airboxes but no longer I fear. I am going to produce a batch of 6 in the new year but it might be easter before they are ready. I might vary the box design to accommodate a B50 engine or a square barrel motor depending on whether I get any interest in advance (not sure yet whether to allow for an Interspan unit). The side panels you can get from Adrian or Roger Ennis. You can now get ally fork shrouds from a chap in the U.S. - see www.gpvictor.com - I have 2 sets on order and will post here when I get them - I have high hopes on quality as they come complete with rubber washers and a steel insert to protect from the spring.
