B44 Rearset footrests wanted - any ideas / inspiration?

Post by csx355 » Mon May 13, 2019 1:41 pm

Hi all on my current B44 project / B25 frame - I would like to fit some rearsets. Are there stock /off the shelf options? Could someone post pics of their solution? Ideally looking for simple rather than special! Many thanks.

I accomplished a small amount of rearsetting (3"-4"?) on a B50T by doing a little machining on the originals and re-attaching them. I don't remember the details, but it wasn't very difficult. I doubt that I took any pictures, but I'll look.

Only found a couple photos, but no details of the pegs.

Thanks Jack - I'm not looking for anything too radical just to pull them back and possibly up a tad, so maybe that will be the way to go. It's early stages at the moment.

From the advice of others in the B50 forum, I have fitted footrests from a 1973 Triumph Adventure/Trophy Trail.
They successfully take the footrests' position back some 3 inches.
I think that BBB still stock the Triumph parts.
