NATIONAL BSA RALLY -2013

Post by steve m » Sat Jul 20, 2013 5:12 am

hi all,
this years national rally will be held at Nagambie, Victoria on 12th and 13th of October.
entry 1 person $120 this will get you a rally badge, museum entry sat and sun (looks like we will all be going to pucka ;-) ), plus all meals except breakies.
you can book your rally entry online at the BSAMOA site and i would suggest that if you are going you should book accommodation ASAP.
John(Canberra), Trevor, Skippy, Barry and all those others out there - come on down :thumb

well done Doug, see ya there. :thumb
of course that is the mistake in the Redgum song "i was only nineteen". no "Nasho" ever "passed out" at Puckapunyal.

hey Trevor, are you and Shane coming down to Nagambie for the national rally?

Steve,
Wild horses could not keep me away.
Shane will be with his family as there is an alpaca do happening near by.
We are doing fence repairs on the farm at the moment so the whole lot of us can be away at the same time.
I will be with the other BSAMCC of NSW members and that box ( the one with the wicked reds in it ) will be there as well.
Regards

Hi Trevor
Did your club have a small BSA stationary engine and were you right beside the gate, if so my mates had the tent on the other side with the royal Enfield. We may have met. Without knowing it.

Funny enough no I did not notice the 5 unit singles, that red I was drinking was a really good drop.
And yes that was Shanes motor, we picked it up Friday after making camp.
Shane & I are real BSA nuts.
If it has BSA on it then there is a place for it at our BSA orphanage.
hardest thing was deciding to let a BSA auto lathe slip past.
The idea of making BSA parts on a BSA lathe was real appealing but neither of us has much in the way of maching skills let alone setting up an auto lathe.
