Good to see the piece of wood propping up one of Small Heath's finest!

Diesel Enfield... shudder....

Only member was Trevor from Sydney (not in photo) and he can explain his own circumstances. Steve's mates where there but without the B50s this time.
The Diesel Enfield is interesting, the owner couldn't workout how to kick start it so he put an electric starter motor on it. It will do 80Kmh and runs on the smell of an oily rag. You have to admit it is a rare bike for Australia.

One day I will get down there. Weather seems to be great for the event as well this year. Hope everyone has a good time. I know a few go from the Canberra club.

I'm a bit laid up anyway recovering from a cracked femur at the hip when the Bonneville fell over on me at a junction after I did an emergency stop and missed my footing. Hopefully I can put full weight on it next week.

Would be good to see more photos from this year's event.

Thanks guys.

Beat, I believe your new outfit has less weight. Made worse as I had just filled it up with petrol and left the service station. The Bonneville SE version are nice bikes to ride but I agree a bit of a lump to push around. Certainly not as light as the B50 although the SE has lower seat height. At least Lynn wasn't on the back this time.

Beat, lot more than your outfit!

The standard 2010 SE is 225kgs wet so not nicest if it falls over. I have top box so a bit heavier. I see the new 2019 version has lost about 15kgs (must have more plastic).

Bit more than my B50SS which is probably around the 165kgs wet.
