Minety's upgrade from a B50?

Post by Mark Cook » Mon Jun 05, 2006 12:39 pm

Rumour has it chaps that Minety is fearfull of the awsome power of a B50, to help him overcome this he's been riding a newer bike!

1975 Italjet 50 kiddies bike.

I wonder if he has any pics?

Just kidding Gerry

I reckon that the Italjet has got more go than the 1968 D14 Bantam that I have been relegated to for the past 5 weeks since my engine has been with Mark! :(

Mark, many thaks for lending me the Italjet, I think half the village has had a go on it. Much to my surprise it wasn't my boy who got the most from it, it was my eldest daughter, she was worryingly good. I'll drag the whole family to Farliegh next year, and maybe my little girl could teach the chaps a thing or two!!

I'll try to get the bike back to you soon, but all of a sudden I find myself somewhere very hot (50C) and sandy where fuel is 10p/litre. Not sure if they would advocate Castrol R here.

I want to come home.

Yes, no worries Rickard, keeping my head down in a sandstorm in Kuwait right now but get a plane back to Blighty tomorrow.
