Re: B25 Engine wanted
Thanks for the link chaps, I have spoken to the seller who said he would sell it ex-ebay, but my £500 offer was not acceptable to him.
What project? My brother is sending back the C25/C15 Bitsa that we slung together 10 years ago, I want the engine from it to go back into my C15 ( the first bike I ever owned). That will leave me with the C25 rolling chassis.

Re: B25 Engine wanted
Thanks for that Stan. I am collecting an Engine from Midgie tomorrow and will have a think about the frame mod. Doing it will allow me to fit any of my engines into any of my frames- that may be a life saver somewhere down the line.

HaHa, yep here's how one person converted back to an early set of cases.bossy wrote:Thanks for that Stan. I am collecting an Engine from Midgie tomorrow and will have a think about the frame mod. That looks like a proper job Stan. You should market them, I'd be your first customer.HPbyStan wrote: HaHa, yep here's how one person converted back to an early set of cases.

Haha! The engine I offered £500 finally sold at £480, but clearly the vendor was bidding it up himself as within two hours of it ending he tells me the buyer can't complete and I can have it for £470. Greedy fool should have recognised a good offer when he got one.

Re: B25 Engine wanted
Serves him right!
I noticed the ending price with a wry smile, never imagining he'd outbid himself! If the winner 'can't complete' why doesn't he stick to the rules and offer the 2nd highest bidder a 2nd Chance Offer? Unless that was him too.

that's a cracker paul, as is often said 'the greedy will never be satisfied' looks like the vendor shot himself through both feet!bossy wrote:Haha!
