I had a good look at that 78 frame, and have to agree with you there. the workmanship on that is superb and I have seen more than my fair share in my time.LONGSTROKE wrote:Went to the show at the weekend and it was a CCM fest. Drooled over Joe Maxwell's 72/73 frames and bikes
and there was someone there who's making 78 rolling chassis's, The quality of the frames are just superb and he's got tanks and seats made, side panels moulded and is casting hubs and forks I believe. Its my birthday coming up so will start dropping the kids a few hints. Have an engine on the shelf that will fit into it just right. Apparently he's only about 25 miles away so I'm planning a visit
where would I be without all you wise people on the forum!LONGSTROKE wrote:Don't know why people still run old Fords, these days you can go into a main dealer and walk out with a brand new one for £100 down and they are very comfortable with decent sound systems, air conditioning, electric windows and 3, 5 10 year guarantee's against rust etc. And you wouldn't get people staring at you all the time
Only a load of old junk Beat according to my wife and kidsbeat wrote:good idea, - but it all depends what is inside your garage.....LONGSTROKE wrote:Might have a garage sale to get some money together to buy one
The details I have are RKM Motorcycles, email - bsa441@hotmail.co.ukchucksy wrote:any contact details for the 78 builder. What was the asking price.
Mark Cook wrote:Another thing to remember is that we own the Trade Mark, anyone going commercial without our written permission will find themselves in court.
I'm no legal eagle, but Trade Mark and copyright are different things, commercial use of the Trade Mark or plagiarising brand identity is what Mark is on about I think, but this is not the place to discuss stuff like this as it will no doubt end in ultra-violence, speak to each other before going into print please....LONGSTROKE wrote:So what your saying Mark is that no one can make anything resembling CCM bits and pieces?
