Burton's are listing 40-6815 rear mudguard (1968) as out of stock, but they are reproductions nowadays,so others may be selling them, does anybody know of another source in the UK.

As a young, poor graduate engineer about 35 years ago, I usually made a pilgrimage to Autocycles of Bilston each weekend to buy some BSA bits.

What a character Chris Williams is! That tumble down shop literally packed to the rafters and bursting at the seams with unobtainable Brit spares. Now based in Netherton of course.

Very astute business man though. I know he bought up 'the' factory mudguard manufacturer and a girder fork manufacturer and probably many more. And he assembled a great private collection of bikes.

Great guy, great times!
