Hello, I bought a modified head for my B44 mx build a
While back.
The inlet valve measures 43.88mm (1.727) & the exhaust
Valve is 38.81mm (1.528).
Being a round barrel head, are these valve too big for the
Head? I want to use a b50mx cam, and I’m wanting to know if there is a chance of the valves hitting each other.
Thanking you John

Re: B44 valve size tolerances
According to Rupert, my own limited experience and what I've learned talking to people smarter than myself, you should be on the upper limit of still okay. Subtle things such as how far the valve seats are sunk in the head and the accuracy of the timing marks will affect valve to valve clearance. In other words, it should be okay, but do lots of checking at every step long the way.
