Wheel builders...

Post by ringding » Sat Sep 16, 2017 5:30 pm

The Barracuda is on it's original rims and pokes (as far as I can tell) and they are starting to look at bit ropey.
Does anyone have recommendations for a wheel builder in the Bristol area. I'd prefer to be able to drop them off, would like the hubs blasted an powder coated at the same time.
Cheers.

I've had wheels rebuilt at Charlies in Fishponds. Don't know if they do powder coating too. Bossy knows a good powder coater. Hope to see him later in the week, so will try and find out for you.

Cheers

Thanks both. Ian, fishponds would be good. I know a powder coater I've used before if they don't do it themselves. Just after the least hassle approach for a change!

The question then becomes what sort of rims and spokes. Standard sizes but chrome, alloy, stainless?

I'll look Charlies up.
